For importation of Biosecurity regulated products (Animal Products), importer needs to have a valid Biosecurity Approved Premises (BAP). Our trade and compliance team (tfc@baf.com.fj) will assist you in obtaining your BAP.

Import conditions prior to arrival in Fiji

A BAF import permit is required.

Manufacturers Declaration is required with below information to be endorsed:

1. MD to be on official manufacturers letterhead.

2. Total percentage of dairy

3. Country of origin of dairy used

4. Country of manufacture

5. Pasteurization or any other treatment including its holding time and temperature

6. MD to be dated and signed

To demonstrate compliance with this requirement you must present the following on a Health certificate:

1.New Zealand remains free of all OIE List diseases affecting cattle and goats.

2.The dairy products are derived only from animals of New Zealand and Australian origin.

3.The dairy products are produced at NZ MPI registered export processing plants located in New Zealand.

4.The dairy products have not come into contact with animal products of any other country.

5.The dairy products are fit for human consumption. 

6.The statement must accompany the product.
