Personal importation of pork/ pork products from any country are not allowed under personal allowance. However, importer can obtain a personal Import permit from BAF to import Australian origin pork/ pork products from Australia into Fiji with Veterinary/ Zoo sanitary certificate from these respective countries.
Importation of pork and pork products will be facilitated with personal import permit and veterinary certificate from respected country with origin of Australia and New Zealand only.
Therefore, you can apply for a personal Import permit to import pork and pork product ORIGIN of Australia from Australia Into Fiji. Once you obtained a personal Import permit from BAF , you are required to obtain Veterinary certificate from DAFF ( Department of Agriculture, Fisheries & Forestry) and fulfill all the Import requirement. Product imported under personal permit can be used by Importer Only and they must not be sold or distributed in Fiji.
